Summit Winter Retreat
Summit is a spiritual retreat/conference for youth groups sponsored by the Western NC Conference of the United Methodist Church. It includes powerful sessions with challenging talks, inspirational music, and lots of fun for youth groups.
Through the years, youth groups from across the southeastern United States have gathered in Boone, Blowing Rock and Newton, North Carolina for Summit. For over 15 years we have gathered to worship God, praise God’s name through song and scripture, play games, share laughs, and build friendships.
This year Summit will be held at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Asheville, NC. There are four powerful sessions that include messages from Robert Brewer, Diron Chloe, and music by Kyle Sigmon, along with games, small groups and much more for groups to enjoy.
We will leave on Friday, January 31st and return on Sunday, February 2nd (arrangements can be made for Friday night school functions, so let Andrew know if this applies to you and we can work something out)
The cost of the trip is $75, which includes the retreat, food, and lodging. If cost is an issue for you, we still want you to go! There are full and partial scholarships available for the trip, so talk to Andrew. A $25 deposit is due with this form by Sunday, October 27th. Because we have to register for the conference and reserve lodging, availability may be limited and the cost may increase after this date.

Welcome!
Acts29 is the Youth Ministry at Oak Forest UMC in Hayesville, NC. All 6th-12th grade youth are welcome to join us! We meet each Sunday from 4-6pm at Oak Forest, 990 Oak Forest Road, Hayesville.
